Including Lookout Mountain, Cloudland Canyon State Park and Chickamauga National Military Park in North Georgia
Welcome to the Wildflowers of Pigeon Mountain
guest book. I am interested in hearing from you, especially if you are
from out of the LaFayette, Georgia, area. How did you hear about the
book and/or web site?
Comment:
Jay, Your book is great from what I know of it. Gene Van Horn said he
edited part of it for you. It is a valuable addition to the flora of
our region. I am looking forward to getting a copy when I can come
over.Larry

I'm anxious to buy book next time I go to town. I moved to Pigeon Mt.
about 3 years ago from WI & am finding many plants I'm not familiar
with. I heard about your book from Scott Carmine with cave rescue.

My father was addicted to The Pocket, he took everyone he could to
learn about the wildflowers and plant life there. The head of GNP just
directed me to your book and I would love to talk to you about how to
contribute appropriately to something to benefit The Pocket, its
preservation, etc... in my father's memory. In addition, I specialize
in macro and plant photography and would so enjoy coming with you the
next time you go, to learn what I didn't have time to learn from my
father, and to contribute to your study and preservation of The Pocket
and surrounds.... Please call me. 770-845-3212

Comment: My husband introduced me to the pocket. I was searching to find when the wildflowers will be in bloom so we can take our little girl to see them. We all appreciate nature. (Your pictures are interesting...except for the sliced open snake!) Now that I know about your book, I'll take a look. Thanks!

Comment: Hey Jay! Just looking at your website after coming back from Nature's Classroom at Mentone. 5th grade field trip. Told the manager about your book and even offered your services for classes and staff development! Told them I would send them info about how to get your book for their library.
Had never looked at the 'weird stuff' tab on your site until a few minutes ago and had to chuckle out loud! Those pictures are sooo Jay.
Saw some flowers on the hikes wished I had a pocket guide! hint!
